Broken Jack

Back in May, Jackson broke his arm. It's not an exciting story. He climbed up on top of a table in the living room and fell off. Both bones were broken right by the wrist.

Here he is when we got home from Urgent Care.

He was a little trooper getting his cast on. We picked his favorite color, green.
Having a 2 year old with a broken arm is quite the task. I was always so worried he would get it wet or dirty. Especially since Jackson tends to throw up randomly in his bed. It was a nerve wracking 4 weeks. I would put a grocery bag over his cast during meals since he is a messy eater. He got used to it.

Finally off.

I did not save the cast. It smelled. Bad.

This kid is so accident prone. A couple months later he fell on his face at the park and his whole nose area and one of his eyes were bruised. His tooth even started to turn gray but it went back to normal after a couple months. He also had a TV fall on his leg and I thought it was broken. Thank goodness it wasn't! Crazy kid!
