Happy Birthday Brandon and Jackson!
Brandon and Jackson had a little birthday party on Saturday with the family. They loved their cupcakes, it was their first time really eating any sugar. They were pretty wound up after that!
Jackson crumbled his a little and then ate the pieces.
Brandon squished his into a sort of paste and then tasted his fingers. This is his second cupcake.
Opening presents is a family affair.
Seven kids opening presents = mass chaos. We had a hard time keeping track of what was from who, they all just kind of attacked!
Grandpa Nelson came for the weekend. It was so wonderful to have him here!
The twins got a Toy Story couch as per our tradition of getting the one year old his or her own little chair. Sorry boys, you have to share. I knew it folds out but didn't know about the fun sleeping bag feature! Hailey snuggled up in it later for about an hour and watched Dora.
I am so thankful that we survived this first year with twins. It has been quite the adventure. Brandon and Jackson are such little sweethearts. I sure have my hands full, but so is my heart.Bath Time!
The twins had their first bath together and without the bath seat. I thought Brandon would be all over the place going nuts. I was wrong again. Jackson sure surprised me!

Brandon is growing up!!
Brandon has decided he's ready to become a toddler. Now if he could only overcome his fear of walking hands free. Haha.
The other day I realized that Jackson was alone downstairs. To my surprise I found Hailey and Brandon upstairs in the playroom. Scary!! Now every time I turn my back Hailey is taking down the gate and coaxing her brother to climb the stairs. I knew these two were a troublesome team! Looks like it's time to get a gate that's screwed into the wall.
