Happy Number 3!

Hailey had her third birthday on the 22nd. It was a fun day, and I finally got to give her the present I had bought almost a month early....I think I was more excited than her! Hailey is a sweetheart and such a blessing to our family. She loves to color and watch Dora the Explorer. She likes string cheese and spaghetti (not together). She can draw a circle. She loves to wear "pretty dresses" and shoes. She loves blankets. She loves to give lots of kisses. She can put her shoes on the right feet and open her own sucker wrapper. She often hides randomly under blankets and will wait up to 20 minutes for someone to discover her. She can do a somersault. The list goes on and on. We love our little girl and are so thankful to have her in a house full of boys!
Hailey's play kitchen and shopping cart. She loves it! And so does Ian...

Hailey blew out all of the candles by herself!

She loves pillow cases!

Livin' it up

We are so enjoying having my sister Marianne living with us for a couple months. She is such a saint to come help me with my crazy and wild kids. I am so glad my kids have gotten to know and love their Aunt, hopefully they will always have a special relationship with her. We have been passing a few milestones with the twins. Jackson has 2 teeth now and Brandon has one and is painfully working on a second. Brandon is sitting up like a pro and crawling, well, like a little frog. They both can clap and are just such a joy to have around! Hailey and Ian have been busy eating candy and playing together (though not always so nicely). I am glad they are finally getting along sometimes.
The proud Auntie
"Ok Jackson, you look at the camera innocently and I'll get her!"
Nothing more comfortable than a cupboard full of stuffed animals!
SO cute! These two love to watch movies and eat popcorn with their pillows and blankies.
He's on the move!
Do you have any 3's?
What a big boy!

Jackson loves to hold on to the "handle" while he jumps. Makes him feel safer.
This kid constantly has his tongue sticking out of his mouth! Always to the left, what a silly boy.

I feel like we have been way too busy lately. It seems like every where I turn there is someone needing me, I guess that's what motherhood is all about. I absolutely love this baby age, they are so curious and want to look at and touch everything. Yesterday Jackson grabbed a big handful of my sister's cupcake and Brandon learned about dirt at the park. The weather has been beautiful the last few days so we are trying to take advantage of it and get outside a little more. What a wonderful time of year!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween seemed to sneak up on me this year. Somehow we still managed to get everyone in a costume and have some fun! We went over to the church for a "trunk-or-treat" and decided it was just perfect for our young kids. They had a blast, Ian must have gone around to all the cars at least 4 or 5 times. After that we took Ian down a couple streets to knock on doors. The weather was beautiful! I was so glad after a very cold and blustery week.
"Eeewww!"
Ian completely filled his bucket at the ward "trunk-or-treat." I finally started telling people to stop giving him candy! I spent all day carving this jack-o-lantern, and it looked great, but my candle wasn't bright enough to show it's true awesomeness in the dark. Oh well, better candles next year...
Hailey was a little scarecrow girl, Ian was Darth Vader (again). Somehow I didn't get a pic with the mask and light saber.

After one trip around the trunks Hailey started on this sucker and it had her entertained the rest of the night! Success!
Jackson was asleep so we just took Brandon to the trunk-or-treat (don't worry, we didn't leave Jack home alone ;) ). He was SO stinking CUTE!! He wore this costume (thanks mom!) and smiled away the whole time!
Here he is in the other costume I had for Jackson.
And here's my little sleepy head! We just took a pic of him in the costume, sad we didn't get to show him off at the party though!
Hailey got a cupcake which she enjoyed thoroughly.
And her favorite: suckers!! She was doing a little sucker dance with three Tootsie Pops when I found her in the kitchen. She sure loves those suckers!
Ian and his loot.
Hailey loves candy!
