Easter

Since I was out of town right before Easter we kind of squeezed everything into one day. Ian woke up in the morning and came downstairs by himself to find stuffed bunnies and Easter baskets on the couch. We were still upstairs in bed and I heard him making excited noises downstairs. Then I heard him running up the stairs and I came out just in time to catch him with a mouth full of M&M's. As it dripped down his chin he squeeled "it's Easter!" He is so funny. Sorry I didn't get any good pictures of them in their Easter outfits, they didn't want to cooperate.
Ian getting ready to dye eggs.

Ian and I had fun dying easter eggs. We did some cool ones with this foil stuff that made them shiny. The blue ones were Ian's favorite.

Hailey tried to pull the headband off but pulled her own hair instead. I just put the headband on for a second to see how it looked. The poor thing just has no hair! She really needed an Easter hat, but I never got around to finding one for her.

I think this picture speaks for itself.

Ian and Hailey's most recent picture together.

Trip to Utah

I went up to Salt Lake last week by myself for my friend Kristen's wedding. I left the kids with a babysitter on Thursday and drove up and stayed with my Grandma there in Salt lake. Adam was able to take part of Thursday off and all of Friday to take care of the kids so I could go alone. It was a really nice and much needed break. The wedding was Friday at the Salt Lake Temple and it was all really nice. Besides the wedding I spent almost the entire time on my grandma's couch just talking with her. I drove home on Saturday. It was so fun!
Grandma and I had the best visit. We talked for hours the whole time I was there. She is such an example to me. She is in her mid-80's and still takes care of her house and yard and drives around town and she looks great! I love my grandma so much I was so thankful to spend some time with her without distractions (i.e. kids).

Children's Museum

Today I got a memebership to the LIED Children's Museum. I have been trying to find something we could do that wouldn't cost anything and was indoors so we could get away from the heat (or cold). It's a little bit of a drive, but now that I have the membership we can go whenever and take friends too. The kids love it and I can get a break from the bickering and mess at home. Yippee!!
Ian and Hailey are ready to go to work.

Hailey putting a ball in the "ball sucker."
Ian and Hailey spent most of the time with this "ball sucker." It sucks the balls up and they go different directions and the kids can change the way they go.

More Random Pictures

Ian and Hailey in time out.

Hailey had this weird scratch on her face that wouldn't stop bleeding so I had to put a bandaid on her face and I only had big ones. She was a bandaid face for a whole day (it really wouldn't stop bleeding!).

Christmas in March?

I finally found my camera and realized I hadn't even downloaded the pics from Christmas time. So here's a little flashback to Christmas. Why not?
This was Adam's gift to me, pretty nice!

I don't think Hailey really "got it."
Daddy got Geotrax for Christmas, he shared with Ian.
Santa brought Ian a marble run for Christmas, it provides hours of great entertainment.

Ian and his cousin Nick made gingerbread trains, I put on the frosting and he put on the candy, pretty good!

I can't stop laughing!!

Hailey used to be so funny in the high chair. This one day I took 25 pictures of her just making these funny faces. I was looking through them today and found this one and I can't stop cracking up. It looks funnier bigger, but oh well.

Random Halloween Photo

I just think this is a cute picture.

Pictures

Here are some random pictures, just to get this site started. I don't really know how to do this whole blog thing so I am experimenting, enjoy the pictures in the meantime.
Cute kids. Look at those thighs!

Story time with Daddy.

My favorite funny picture of Hailey.

Sorry these are all kind of old pictures, I can't find my camera! I'll get new ones soon.

My little pianists

Ian loves to play the piano and sing. Yesterday he was singing "Tell me the stories of Jesus." I hope he still loves it when it's time for lessons!

New Blog

I am finally giving in and creating a blog. I have enjoyed looking at other people's blogs so here ya go. Forgive me if I'm not that great at it at first!!
